How do we help you ensure the perfect damage free delivery?
Finished vehicles en route from production facilities to the end customers sustain damage. Our experience is that roughly 3% of vehicles are damaged at some point in the distribution process.
The impact of damage on European automotive logistics is clear;
- 450,000 vehicles damaged annually
- Late deliveries impacting on brand perception
- €200m in repair costs each year
This website is based upon a presentation issued to the Automotive Logistics Europe conference held in Montreux in March 2007. It is designed to provide information on the impact of in-transit damage on the automotive industry and to outline how we help our clients deliver the perfect, damage free, vehicle.
There are four stakeholders who have an interest in the delivery of the finished vehicle. From the customer back to the dealer, carrier and manufacturer, we outline how each stakeholder would define a perfect delivery.
Also detailed is the impact of damage on the delivery process, in terms of Time, Quality and Cost.
Finally, we outline the ways in which perfect damage free deliveries can be achieved and how we help our clients reduce damage, reduce costs and improve the efficiency of vehicle supply.
