Simon Horton – Lecturer, Author, Trainer at Negotiation Mastery
Simon is a Negotiation Skills expert, having taught hostage negotiators, some of the most prestigious law firms in the world and many entrepreneurs and business owners. He is a Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College, University of London, and is the author of ‘The Leader’s Guide to Negotiation’, published by the Financial Times, and the Amazon best-seller ‘Negotiation Mastery’.
He studied Physics at Bristol University and started his career in 1987 as a management consultant for Capgemini, spending the next 12 years primarily working as a consultant in the financial services sector.
In 1998, he became involved in NLP and moved his business into the world of psychology, influencing and negotiation. Clients have included Slaughter and May, Accenture, Lloyds of London, Credit Agricole, Nike and the Daily Telegraph amongst many others of similar stature.
In his spare time, he is a trapeze artist and used to perform as a stand-up comedian. He is also the trustee of a charity, AID2, which provides negotiation skills to charities
