PoundGates Nursery Insurance is an Insurance and Risk Management
package designed specifically to cater for the unique needs
of day care nurseries and kindergartens, provided in partnership
with Norwich Union.
PoundGates Nursery Insurance provides a comprehensive range
of ‘Core’ covers with the ability to tailor the
product further through the selection of appropriate ‘Optional’
covers. Cover available includes:
Core Cover:
Full All Risks protection including Accidental Damage and
Theft covering the contents of your nursery, including fixed
outdoor play equipment and damage to glass.
Income protection for your business provided on a blanket
basis of £500,000 over 12 months (higher limits easily
catered for)
Employers’ Liability
Public Liability up to £5,000,000 any one event including
cover for the misadministration of drugs and medicines by
nursery staff
Products Liability
Loss of Registration up to £50,000
Commercial Legal Expenses cover with a 24 hour legal and
tax helpline
24 hour access to emergency assistance in the event of a
claim
Optional Cover:
Buildings and tenant’s improvements (including cover
for subsidence)
Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers and Charity
Trustees Liability
Additional Loss of Registration cover up to £100,000
Personal accident for staff/managers
