Each year we celebrate our staff who have achieved 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 years of service with Pound Gates. Today, there were six recipients of the awards, which included extra holidays, vouchers and lunch at The Salthouse Harbour Hotel with MD Kevin Collins.
Over 50 percent of our staff have at least five years of service under their belt, 20 percent have been with us for over 15 years, and seven percent for over 25 years. Later this year, we look forward to celebrating three members of staff reaching an incredible 30 years of service!
We like to think this longevity is because we’ve created a Great Place to Work, where our staff feel valued, involved, inspired, rewarded and supported to develop and grow. We’re proud to have won the Best Workplace in Insurance award at the 2024 National Insurance Awards.
Today’s award recipients included:
- Lee Lockwood, Abbie Bryant (not pictured) and Christine Bond: 5 years of service
- Abigail Pearce and Shirley Mills: 15 years of service
- Natasha Bedford: 25 years of service
