Emergency Glass Replacement
If you suffer glass breakage you can call upon the services of our selected specialist provider who will effect a repair.
If you are covered for glass breakage under this policy they will issue two separate invoices, an invoice for you to cover the amount of any policy excess and recoverable VAT and an invoice which is sent to us for the remaining costs.
If the glass is not insured you will be solely responsible for the entire cost of repairs.

Legal and Tax Advice
If you have a legal or tax problem relating to your business, we recommend you call our confidential legal and tax advice helpline. Legal advice is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, and tax advice is available between 9am and 5pm on weekdays (except bank holidays). We give advice about business-related legal matters within the UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and EU law and tax matters within the UK. Your query will be dealt with by a qualified specialist who is experienced in handling legal and tax-related matters. Use of this service does not constitute reporting of a claim.
Legal Representation
If the insured has been asked to attend a police interview, under caution, in relation to an offence or alleged offence relating to a child who is or has been under your care, call the above number.
Counselling Assistance
Our qualified counsellors will provide free confidential support and advice by phone to your employees or their family members who are suffering from emotional upset or feeling worried and anxious about a personal or work-related problem. This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
Calls to this Counselling assistance services will not be recorded.
Redundancy Assistance
If you are planning redundancies and need extra legal support, we can arrange specialist consultancy assistance for you. Redundancy assistance will help you to implement a fair selection process and ensure that redundancy notices are correctly served. The service offers document review and telephone or written advice and is subject to charge. If you would like us to arrange Redundancy assistance please call us between 9am and 5pm on weekdays (except bank holidays).
Crisis Communication
Following an event that has attracted negative publicity which could affect your business, you can access professional public relations support from our Crisis communication experts at any time.
In advance of any actual adverse publicity, where possible, initial advice for you to act upon will be provided over the phone. If your circumstances require professional work to be carried out at that time, we can help on a consultancy basis and subject to you paying a fee.
Where an event has led to actual publicity online, in print or broadcast, that could damage your business, you are insured against the cost of crisis communication services under Insured event 13 when you use this helpline.
Executive Suite – Identity Theft Resolution
This service is available to the principal, executive officers, directors and partners of the business between 9am and 5pm on weekdays (except bank holidays). We provide telephone advice to help executives keep their personal identity secure. Where identity theft is suspected, our specialist caseworkers can help the victim restore their credit rating and correspond with their card issuer, bank or other parties. Identity theft expenses are insured under Insured event 11c) when your executives use this helpline.

ARAG Legal Services – Introduction
As a Pound Gates client you have access to ARAG’s Legal Services website. The Legal Services website gives you access to over 500 easy-to-prepare legal documents, contracts and letter templates, most of which are free for you to use. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Getting Started
Visit https://www.arag.co.uk/claim/free-legal-documentation/ and scroll to the ‘How it Works’ section to watch a short video to learn more about what the website offers and how you can use it to save legal costs and to support the smooth running of your business. You will then need to visit https://www.araglegal.co.uk and enter voucher code X1232K545CA3 when you register to use the website. Once you have registered you can access the website at any time to create and securely store your legal documents.

We recommend selecting “Legal Healthcheck” from the menu services. This useful tool will help you to identify which legal documents are likely to be the most useful to your business.
