The Pound Gates Charity Quiz Night returned this week, in support of The Soma Leo Foundation. At Venue 16, teams from across Ipswich took part to battle it out for the brainiest team in Ipswich crown. The event was hosted by local celebrity quiz master Simon Jay and raised £1,500 for the charity.
Congratulations to Between the Spreadsheets (Ensors) who won the quiz, and to The Coesee Club (Coes) who came a close second. And, of course well done to all of the teams that took part!
Funds raised go towards providing education and nourishment for the 200 pupils that attend The Soma Leo Academy in Nyiera, Kenya. You can find out more about the charity here.
