Sian has over 30 years insurance experience, having joined Pound Gates as a trainee in 1994. She became part of the nursery team in 1995 and has progressed to the dual role of Lead Underwriter and Team Leader.
Sian is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds the Certificate of Insurance. She is married with two children, both of whom attended nursery from the age of 10 months when she returned to work. Having first-hand experience of the childcare sector, Sian feels this gives her a strong understanding and valuable insight that supports her day-to-day role.
In addition, Sian is a qualified Mental Health First Aider. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and long, energetic walks.
