The Acorn Fund was created by Pound Gates in partnership with Suffolk Community Foundation, to provide financial support to local causes. Since its inception in October 2013 we have distributed £42,000 to 31 great causes, impacting the lives of over £4,000 people. Since the start of the pandemic, we have made grants totalling £9,000 to five Ipswich-based causes.
As with previous years, Pound Gates is making a £1,000 donation to the Acorn Fund in place of sending Christmas cards.
